O my.. It's been ages.. Sorry for this 'unupdated' blog..

Once upon a time..

This is a true story (my story la..) about a happily-ever-after geology family day trip to Manukan Island, Sabah.. the actual plan was Mamutik Island but our senior (the one responsible buying the tickets) mistakenly bought tickets to Manukan..

We, the first year students, were extremely excited like a kid given a candy. we bought foods.. many of it! We brought along our hats, beach ball, clothes, etc.. However, many of us didn't make it including my "geologic adopted sister" Si Nadia, due to some other things. Huhu~

Anyway, we first went to Jesselton Point, the point of Jesselton.. Hehe. We gathered there and waited for like.. 20minutes before the first boat trip was called. I was in it. I think at that time, my physical seems normal but my mental was going crazy.. Excited cause it was the second island I went. The first one is.. Labuan.. krik krik~

No words can explain the view except than Subhanallah.. His creation is great. The white sand, refreshing breeze, the sunlight, the green ocean.. the water is clean and you can see fishes swimming.. Beautiful and fascinating.. For those who never went to Sabah.. Don't forget to visit our islands.. Manukan, Mamutik, Mabul, Kapalai and many more!

The seniors -2nd year students- have prepared activities and it was fun.. The most happy thing happened there was knowing our seniors.. Only thru this kind of activity can bring the seniors and juniors closer together. After the activities, we were allowed to play and swim. As for me, well.. me and one of my friend just 'romantically' walk through the beach and collect these super-cute seashells, taking pictures and we chat, giggles just like other girls..

I am also grateful knowing this third year senior.. We just sat and talked (on the evening when my friends went snorkeling and me.. being left, forgotten and forever alone..) about many things like our course. He thought me amusing stories about our lecturers and about his experiences. Huhu, never get the chance to thank him though.. for his advice, comical stories and for accompanying me that evening.. :)

We went back to our U about 5pm something.. It was exhausting+exciting+sleepy+sandy.. Next year, it will be our turn to plan Geology Family Day.. Insyaallah it will be fun and unforgettable. Like this one.. Thank you seniors~ ^_^
